Text recognition and title/date extraction can make mistakes, especially with stylized text, several dates, or unusual layouts. You can always edit the draft fields directly.

Open Image & recognized text to compare the source. Correct its text and choose Extract from corrected text if needed. Re-extraction replaces the extracted title, location, and schedule; your notes stay. Dates must be confirmed again.

Missing years, ambiguous numeric dates, relative wording, and unclear times may need manual entry. A recognized phrase is a suggestion, not a guarantee.

Tap the detected date candidate to use its available suggestion. Set date & time manually starts a new schedule. If the date cannot be resolved reliably, the screen explains that its controls contain placeholders.

If you tapped a clearly resolved candidate but still see today's date, correct it before saving and report the issue below. Include your FolioCue version and a made-up example of the wording, not a private screenshot.

The Share extension saves the image to a local inbox. After it confirms the save, open FolioCue to import and review it. The extension does not automatically open the app.

Open the imported draft and choose Read image on device if its text has not been read yet. Share one image at a time. A full inbox or unsupported file displays an error rather than confirming a save.

Try a sharp, well-lit image with readable text. You can still enter details manually when an imported image has no readable text.

Use a single-frame JPEG, PNG, or HEIC image. Source files must be at most 25 MB, 100 megapixels, and 30,000 pixels per side. Animated or multipage images are not supported. Imported images are resized to a maximum of 2,000 pixels per side.

On your iPhone, open Settings > Apps > FolioCue to review permissions. On some iOS versions, the app's settings appear directly in Settings. Device restrictions may prevent changing a permission.

Camera access is requested only when you use Camera. Selecting a photo does not give FolioCue blanket library access. iOS requires full Reminders access to create a reminder; FolioCue does not read your reminders.

For Calendar, first confirm the schedule, then save in Apple's event editor. Canceling that sheet does not save an event.

For Reminders, confirm Save reminder and allow access if asked. A writable default list must exist in Apple's Reminders app. Reminders can be created without a due date, and FolioCue does not add an alarm automatically.

If you already saved an item, edit it in Calendar or Reminders. Editing the local FolioCue draft does not update an item already saved in another app.

Confirm the year, date, time zone, start, and end against the source. FolioCue does not silently add a one-hour duration.

For an all-day event, Last day is inclusive: choose the same first and last day for a one-day event. An all-day reminder due date has no invented clock time.

Swipe left on an inbox item and choose Delete. This removes that image and its draft from FolioCue, not an event or reminder already saved elsewhere.

The app holds up to 40 local drafts and 20 pending shared images. A full inbox stops new imports instead of automatically deleting older work. Delete an unneeded draft, then reopen the app or retry the import.

There is no account or developer-operated cloud backup. Do not uninstall the app if you still need its local drafts; deleting the app can remove them.

No. FolioCue processes the image you choose on your device using Apple Vision. It does not monitor your photo library, automatically detect screenshots, or send images and drafts to a developer server.
